Flashback to 2005: just after finishing architecture school, I built this house with my family. Bio-based, long before I even knew the term.
100% wood. No glue, but wooden dowels. #Holz100

36cm monolithic walls.
No need for traditional insulation or vapor barriers. Entirely prefab, erected in just two days with our own hands – can see the pride in our faces?

It was innovative then. Now, 19 years later, I look back and wonder:
How much have we really advanced in sustainable building since then?
